Amy Johnson, a former Environmental Engineer from the University of Illinois, studied Fashion Design in Florence Italy and finally found her passion.

Italy is where Amy connected with the fabrics and started her true passion, KayOss Designs. Her extensive travels allow her to find unique fabrics from around the world to inspire her creations.

When Amy arrived back to Saint Louis from Italy, she learned how to sew and KayOss Designs began. “KayOss represents a lifestyle, a socal responsibility, to follow your heart and do what you love. There is more and more chaos we bring into our lives everyday, but there is actually an order within this chaos when you create what you want for this world.” For Johnson, it became fashion, creating beautiful fun garments, for the person who wants to be noticed and feel great. “My goal is to make garments that create compliments, start conversations, open doors for people so they connect with the world and excel at what they love.”

KayOss is all sewn locally in the Saint Louis area by local seamstresses. “It is important to give back to the community that supports you and I will hopefully grow and create jobs and style awareness for Saint Louis.
